Not only is he not ashamed of the largest government bailout in history, he is demanding a thank you from taxpayers, according to an interview with the CEO.

AIG was definitely the most epic disaster of all disasters of the epic financial crisis. The company was ultimately on the hook for a significant portion of those awful mortgage-backed securities it had underwritten.

After great help from the government, the insurance giant is now back on its feet and back on qualifying buy-lists of some analysts. The current CEO of the company is Bob

Benmosche.

In an interview with a magazine recently the CEO demanded that the taxpayer thank him after repaying nearly the entire bailout it received from the government during the financial crisis of 2008.

Many Americans are outraged at the large government bailouts given to private companies, claiming that it supports risky behavior and greed. Now that the CEO is demanding a thank you, he is definitely bound to cause huge waves among Americans.
