The shoppers are already lined up outside the Best Buy store in Cuyahoga Falls. But this year, buyers are looking to capitalize on more than just sales.
Damon Henderson is already camping on the line, but not just for his own holiday shopping. He is willing to endure the crowds on Black Friday for anyone who has the money.
“This year, I am accepting offers for orders, and this year, I’m really going to make money on getting
items to various people who pay me to stand in line for them,” Damon told the news media.
Although he has been camping out for the best holiday deals for years, this is the first time that he had to make a little extra money due to the bad economy.
Experts say that this will be a growing trend across the country for people who do not have the time or cannot camp out for days on long lines. Those people might look into the option of paying others to wait on the line for them.
