The Hasidic sect of Kretchnif is shocked after it was discovered the Jewish sacred books were burned at the tomb of Kretchnif, according to press reports in Israel.
The ultra-Orthodox Jewish community located in the Israeli city of Rehovot was surprised to find Jewish sacred books destroyed and burned by vandals in the woods near the Kratchnif school in town.
Last night, yeshiva students saw a fire in the woods near the residence of the school. Students rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire to stop it from spreading.
After the fire was extinguished it was clear that Jewish sacred books were burned. The students were surprised and removed the burned Jewish sacred books from the scene.
In the morning it was discovered that Jewish sacred books were also burned in the tomb of Kratchnif. There is a great possibility that there is a connection between the two incidents, police have said.
Police gathered evidence and launched an investigation into the incident.
