Officials of the Frontier Corps (FC) said on Monday that police forces arrested three “terrorists” in a house on the outskirts of the city of Quetta.
The detained were identified as Dost Muhammad Mehsud, Yohar Alam Mehsud and Mir Imdad Kurd.
According to officials, two of the militants belonged to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) while the third one is a member of the banned Lashkar-i-Jhangvi.
Authorities have taken the militants into custody for further investigation.
Over the past few days, dozens of innocent Shia Muslims from the Hazara community, including women and children, have been killed in Balochistan.
Saudi-inspired Wahhabi terrorist groups have been engaged in a violent campaign against Shias in Pakistan, Iraq and elsewhere over the past few years.
