A body was found Tuesday in Huntsville, Ala., that police believe is connected with four slayings a day earlier in Lincoln County, Tenn., NBC station WSMV-TV reported.
Police were searching for Warren Vincent Crutcher, 24, in connection with the killings, the station said.
The latest victim was identified as Jeffrey Pope.
On Monday night, police found the body of Jessica Brown at her home in Fayetteville, Tenn. Her 2-month-old son was found unharmed.
Hours earlier, three bodies were found at another Fayetteville home. The dead were identified as Amber McCaulley, Chabreya Campbell and Campbell’s 18-month-old son, Rico Ragland. Another boy, 3-year-old Vincent Crutcher, was found unharmed at the home.
Warren Crutcher was arrested in March 2011 after assaulting Campbell and taking their child, the Huntsville Newswire reported. The report did not make clear whether Vincent Crutcher was the child who was taken.
Officials believe Crutcher is the father of the two boys left unharmed, WSMV reported. They do not believe he was the father of Rico Ragland.
