A Week in Orwellian Britain

William, Defend Europa, 11 March 2018

This last week Great Britain has confirmed its unwelcome accolade as the first state to openly manifest the frightening totalitarian, Orwellian ideals that the great novelist tried to warn us about. A songwriter is facing imprisonment for ‘causing offence’, patriots exposing Muslim rapists have been jailed, Identitarian activists detained at the border, and journalists Tommy Robinson and Lucy Brown brutally attacked by left-wing extremists. In addition, Scottish comedian Markus Meecham is facing prison time in an ongoing trial for teaching his pet pug to perform a right-armed salute.

Singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz has been in court again this week, for the umpteenth ‘hearing’, for singing songs that ’caused offence’. The case against her was initially brought as a private prosecution by influential lobby Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA), after the CPS declined to prosecute on the grounds she hadn’t broken any laws. However, in a remarkable turn of events, and after heavy pressure, they overturned their initial decision and took over the case. This last week gave us an almost humorous exert from court proceedings, in which the Crown’s prosecutor deemed the defendant’s lamentation at the decline of the White race ‘antisemitic and racist’. She now faces up to six months imprisonment.

Then, later in the week, the news broke that Britain First leaders Paul Golding and Jayda Fransen had been jailed for 18 and 36 weeks respectively for exposing the identities of convicted Muslim gang-rapists. The Muslims in question, Tamin Rahmani, Shershah Muslimyar and Rafiullah Hamidym, who were allegedly victims of a ‘religiously aggravated harassment campaign’, are currently serving a combined 49 years behind bars. Fransen and Golding simply exposed their identities during the trial and attempted to make the public aware of the case. They also attempted to confront one rapist, Rahmani, at his takeaway – the scene of the gang-rape that was allowed to remain open by the authorities. For these ‘crimes’, the law threw the book at them, as it were.

Perhaps the most chilling of all was the detention of Identitarian leader Martin Sellner and his partner, American YouTube commentator Brittany Pettibone, as they entered the country. The couple were detained by authorities upon landing at Luton Airport on Friday afternoon, then taken separately to detention centres and treated like convicts, permitted just one phone call per day. Martin Sellner had planned to give a speech on, ironically, the topic of Free Speech at the famed Speaker’s Corner near Hyde Park, yet the authorities said his presence would ’cause tension between communities’. The reason given for detaining Ms Pettibone was that she ‘planned to meet Tommy Robinson, an extremist’. They are being deported from the UK this afternoon, a clear breach of EU Freedom of Movement legislation.

Another incident occurred yesterday, when Tommy Robinson and Lucy Brown were attacked outside a restaurant in London by masked left-wing extremists. Video footage of the incident shows Robinson being forced to the ground by a group of six or more Antifa thugs, before having kicks reigned down on him. The violent thugs also attacked his camerawoman Lucy, who was thrown to the ground and kicked in the head. Despite the incident being caught on camera almost in its entirety, there have been no arrests made.

These events, the trials, the arrests, the detention and seemingly state-sanctioned violent actions of leftist thugs, paint a very dire picture of Britain today. The rights we once thought to be inalienable in this country; freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom of opinion, are being flagrantly abused by the state. There is also a rank hypocrisy on display here. The British state persecutes dissidents of its globalist ideology with the utmost force and tenacity, whilst there’s an estimated 23,000 Jihadists on our streets who they allow to roam free. Furthermore, the state seems unable to prevent returning ISIS fighters from entering the United Kingdom, yet they suddenly develop the power to unlawfully prevent an EU citizen from even leaving the airport.

It has become apparent that there are a number of things going on here. Firstly, all opposition to the multi-ethnic dystopia that is the UK is being silenced with the full force of the law. Native citizens who protest their country being transformed into a third-world nightmare are hunted down and prevented from voicing this opposition. Even exposing criminal Muslim rapists is a crime. Secondly, we have the rank hypocrisy of a two-tier justice system. Foreigners, deviants and terrorists get free reign to spread their poisonous, degenerate ideas, their rights unmolested by the state, whilst the same state denies these basic rights to native citizens and other concerned Europeans.

The only conclusion we can draw from this week’s events is that Britain is officially a police state. This rabid persecution of native opponents to the regnant ideology is akin to the censorship and control exerted by Big Brother in George Orwell’s now-prophetic novel. We are watched everywhere; our communications, our public assembly, who we meet, who we speak to, even to the point that teachers are reporting young children to the police for expressing an interest in the moderate UK Independence Party. Any opinion right-of-centre is strictly verboten. All dissidents are labelled with the double-speak terms “extremists” and a “threat to peace”. It is no longer an exaggeration to say that the British state is an actively hostile institution, one that must be opposed by free-minded individuals at all costs.
