A man who said he is Ahmed al-Awlaki, the brother of the most-wanted U.S.-born terrorist in the world — al- Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula leader Anwar al-Awlaki — telephoned the Chinese newspaper, Xinhua, and said Anwar is still alive and was not part of the targeted convoy hit by a unmanned U.S. drone on Thursday.

In an email message transmitted to Xinhua early on Friday, a Yemen defense ministry spokesperson said that Anwar and a number of his followers were killed by Yemeni forces in Shabwa province in southeastern Yemen.

Anwar Al-Awlaki, the leader of Yemen-based al-Qaeda, was pronounced killed by Yemeni troops in late 2010, but the Yemeni government later retracted their claim, according to Ahmed al-Awlaki.

In a May 11, 2011 CNN news story — “Yemeni source: Drone strike misses al-Awlaki, hits two supporters,”
al-Awlaki had survived an American drone assault after he switched vehicles with fellow jihadis, a senior security official told CNN.

However, an Obama administration press release confirmed that Anwar al-Awlaki, was indeed killed in Yemen. The official press statement confirmed that al-Awlaki was killed in an attack on his convoy by a U.S. drone and jet fighter.

According to the White House press office, the attack was carried out by theCentral Intelligence Agency (CIA) and a U.S. Navy SEAL team , in which the CIA provided the intelligence and the SEALs provided the firepower.

Last month, Yemeni air force warplanes attacked several suspected al-Qaeda hideouts in various areas of the southern province of Abyan, killing 12 terrorists, including a leading member of the group, according to a U,S. intelligence source.

On September 20, warplanes launched three successful air strikes against targets of the al-Qaeda terrorists in the mountainous region of the provincial capital of Abyan province.

The planes bombed a vehicle belonging to the al-Qaeda terrorists, killing a leading member of the group named Fahd al-Qusu, according the intelligence source.

  1. How wonderfully embarrassed it would be for Barry Seotoro if it is true. Lets hope so. Maybe Al-awalaki can pay a you tube message to Barry with his middle finger up with the message F-ck you dictator piggy Seotoro.

The reason they hit what they did with a “Hellfire Missile” is due to the fact that…There aint anything left to look at. Hellfire missile is a combo of explosives and incineration materials.

IE Blown up and burnt to hell. We still dont know if the “tale” from the government is true. Its their lie, so, they get to tell it how they want.
They never showed the alleged body of OBL, why would they start now…right? Its bullshit.

    Bravo2……out

  5. I know it gets crazy. That is why you have to research your information. Otherwise you will be guilty of spreading inaccurate information.

  6. showing a body doesnt do much either. what needs to happen is when things like this go down they need to bring them back alive to face trial saying thier dead is the easy way to get the majority to beleive what they want us to.

  7. They will continue to kill him until he’s dead.

    Third times a charm
