David Schulberg Shock in social networks worldwide caused by an alien silhouette apparently walking on the moon
During the last hours, a rather “disturbing” image of what could be a humanoid figure and his shadow walking on the surface of the Moon has appeared on the interent, a huge number of users worldwide jumped at Google Moon to check out this new “buzz” flooding the internet.
The video, showing the finding has already received more than half a million hits on YouTube. Here you can observe the curious image of what for many evokes the silhouette of a humanoid figure on the moon, check out the video by entering the coordinates 27 ° 34’26.35 “N 19 ° 36’4.75″ W on the lunar section founf on Google Earth.
This phenomenon is no exception to the definition of Pareidolia, a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being perceived as significant, a form of apophenia –seeing patterns in random data.
