BBC Investigating One of Its Journalists Who Tweeted #HitlerWasRight in 2014

Tala Halawa is a Palestinian journalist based in Ramallah currently working for the BBC. Because jewish supremacists in Israel do not like her take on the “conflict” in Occupied Palestine, such as her recent article “Israel-Gaza violence: The children who have died in the conflict”, they decided to look into her past in order to find an excuse to get her fired.

Times of Israel reports:

Honest Reporting, an Israeli organization whose mission statement is “promoting fairness and accuracy in media coverage of Israel,” offered a screen capture on Sunday of a tweet by Tala Halawa, whose account on the LinkedIn social network lists her as a “Digital Journalist at BBC Monitoring,” a position she began in 2017.

Here is the tweet in question:

Now I do not like comparing the jewish supremacists in Israel to “Nazis,” but if you actually think about it, they do act in the way that they tell the world that “Nazis” acted, although it is a bunch of lies in reality. Given that she wrote that #HitlerWasRight leads me to believe that she is perhaps sympathetic to the Third Reich.

Times of Israel also reports on other “offensive tweets”:

Honest Reporting also cited what it said were additional 2014 tweets by Halawa, including where she wrote “Zionists can’t get enough of our blood” and “anti-Semitism melodrama is not trending anymore you stupid Zionists.”

A BBC spokesperson told the jewish Telegraphic Agency on Sunday that, “These tweets predate the individual’s employment with the BBC, but we are nevertheless taking this very seriously and are investigating.”

My guess is that Tala will be fired for her past tweets and never allowed to work for mainstream press again.
