Billions Gather For The World Cup While We Continue To Destroy Earth

Billions are now gathering around the world to watch and celebrate the World Cup of soccer. Once again, it’s another example of how we all continue to engulf ourselves into the world of entertainment for another “headlining” event. It’s no different from the World Series, the Stanley Cup, the Masters, the Olympics, the Grammys or the Royal Weeding, there is always something happening in the world of entertainment that millions, if not billions of people around the world give their undivided attention to.

Between taking care of ourselves, providing for ourselves and our families as well as the constant distractions we face, planet Earth is being subjected to a tremendous amount of harm, more so than what most people hear about. Record breaking oil spills, nuclear disasters, environmental degradation, the loss of wildlife, pollution and more continue to escalate while we turn a blind eye.  These events are a very big deal, something we need to pay more attention to, something we need to change right now.

These are disastrous events that should all serve as lessons for the human race to wake up. It’s time we all start questioning our current way of life and start examining the possible solutions that exist to change the world. I am aware that simply writing about it isn’t enough, and I want to do more and will do more. But this is better than doing nothing.

Uprising began a long time ago in Brazil, where the World Cup is currently being played. The government has spent billions of dollars to prepare for the World Cup when many have taken issue with the fact that the money could have been better spent. For example, providing thousands of homeless Brazilians with a place to live. (source) Homes and communities have also been destroyed in preparation for the event.

Brazil is this years example of what we are doing on planet Earth as a whole. Ignoring what’s really important and using our time and attention towards materialistic things that don’t really matter. Ask yourself, what would happen if billions turned their attention to the atrocities that happen on Earth everyday? What if billions turned their attention to poverty, and realized that solutions exist, that there should be no reason at all that anybody on the planet should be starving, without food or clean water?

The corporate media and our educational institutions will try and provide you with reasons for these problems. Our international peace organizations like the United Nations will take the issue out of your hand, and have you think that they are working on it. If we want change we can’t ask others to do it, we have to do it ourselves.

Solutions Exist. We Can Change Our World.

Many people believe that our world is our world, and that’s just the way it is. It’s precisely this type of thinking that has led to our current experience to be exactly what it is. We can do so much better than this, for starters, everybody on the planet should have access to basic human necessities. This should be a given birthright, and the excuses given to us on a daily basis as to why this is impossible are simply preposterous and untrue.

Earth has more than enough resources to provide everybody with clean water, shelter and food. The amount we spend to fund wars and develop military weapons for one week is more than enough to feed the entire planet for one whole year. Anybody that argues that the world does not have enough resources to provide for everybody, or that a system can’t be set up to provide everybody with what they need, has not examined anything beyond what they’ve been told.

“The financial systems of the department of defence are so snarled up that we can’t account for some $2.6 trillion in transactions that exist, if that’s believable.” – Donald Rumsfeld, Former Secretary of Defence (source)

“It is ironic that the U.S. would begin a devastating war, allegedly in search of weapons of mass destruction when the most worrisome developments in this field are occurring in your own backyard.  It is ironic that the U.S. should be fighting monstrously expensive wars  allegedly to bring democracy to those countries, when it itself can no longer claim to be called a democracy when trillions, and I mean thousands of billions of dollars have been spent on projects which both congress and the commander in chief know nothing about.” – Paul Hellyer, Former Canadian Defence Minister (source)

Many potential solutions to Earth’s problems (in my opinion) from a technological standpoint could lie within black budget programs. You can read more about that here.

That being said, humanity needs to move beyond our archaic system of money. Pieces of paper should not be required for necessity, especially when we have the means to provide for everybody, equally and fairly.

We don’t need to be using fossil fuels to generate energy, we could be using solar radiation, ocean currents, zero-point energy and more. These solutions have been demonstrated numerous times all over the planet.

“I began to examine the breakthrough solutions, and much to my surprise these concepts have been proven in hundreds of laboratories around the world and yet they have not really seen the light of day.” – Brain O’leary, Former NASA Astronaut and Princeton Physics Professor (source)

If you pay attention to the planet, it’s not at all hard to see why we need to change our ways. Fortunately, over the past few years we have seen a tremendous change and resistance in multiple fields. More people are starting to question our ways, and in doing so their perception of the world and what we choose to surround ourselves with on a daily basis is changing.  One great example of this is GMOs, another great example is 9/11, or the black budget world that was referenced earlier in this article. There are so many examples that are leading the masses to one conclusion, that it doesn’t have to be this way.

Everything is merging together to give the people of Earth their best opportunity to wake up, and see that things are not always how we are told, that things are not always as they seem. We don’t have to accept the way we currently live on Earth, and for those who want to see the human race move forward, we must unify together and become one human race that takes care of their planet and every living thing on it. From this place, our potential is far reaching and undiscovered truths and wonder await  us out there in the universe.

The biggest key to change is us. Each and every one of us in our own individual life. Be the change you want to see in the world. Choosing to do so makes a huge difference not only in your own life, but for the entire collective. Practice what your heart’s voice is preaching, that’s why they call it practice. Nobody is perfect, but if you follow your hearts intent and have pure intentions you can’t go wrong.

Earth calls out to us everyday to change our ways, and there are many who hear the call. Billions must no longer gather for events like the World Cup. They are great and sport is a wonderful celebration of human creation. But those things can come after we’ve set up something new on Earth. It’s time to start thinking big like this. So ask yourself: what can I do? If the flame for change burns deep inside of you, you will be put on the correct path so long as you be the change you want to see in the world. So be peaceful for starters. Find your inner peace, work on yourself and go from there.
