Democracy is so retarded.
Leave was leading a couple days ago, now Remain is leading again.
The Remain camp swung back into the lead in the two final polls before the EU referendum.
A survey by ComRes for the Daily Mail and ITV News gave Remain a 6-point lead over Leave – on 48% compared to 42%.
But the phone poll of 1,032 people on June 17-22 also underlined the confusion among voters as 11% of people said they were still undecided.
The final YouGov survey for The Times, which quizzed a massive 3,766 people online on June 20-22, had each side in a dead heat with 45%.
Yet far more of the 8% who were ‘don’t knows’ said they would probably end up picking Remain – meaning it gains the lead in the final result, 51%/49%.
A YouGov spokesman said: “Our current polling suggests the race is too close to call, but the recent trend has been towards Remain, just as other referendums in the past have shown late movement towards the status quo.
“In this poll we asked people who said they didn’t know how they would vote which way they were leaning and re-allocated them on that basis, an adjustment that increased the position of Remain by a point.”
But the spokesman warned: “It is still possible that people will change their mind on the day.”
Ultimately, this monumental, historical vote, which is going to resonate through history, is going to be decided based on the particular emotional state of a percentage of the population – mostly women, as the majority of men would have decided a long time ago.
They will decide based on the last piece of media they saw, on something their neighbor said, on the weather.
How can you possibly run a country on this system?
Well, the only way you can is to control the media, and thus control the way the vast majority of people think.
Absolutely disgusting.
And they tell us this is better than Monarchy.
Why will the Queen not simply assert her authority as divinely mandated Supreme Leader of the British Empire? Who’s going to stop her? David Cameron? She can order him hanged. Legally, she can order him hanged at any moment for any reason.
Anyway.
I have no last minute predictions.
For a long time I said this mish-mashed voting population of hajis, women and cucks (with a few real men here and there, of course) would have the nerve to leave.
Then I got hopeful for a while.
Now, if I had to be my life on it, I’d say they’re going to remain.
But I wouldn’t bet my life on it. And I do hope to be pleasantly surprised.
