FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Canada confirms the foreign-backed Takfiri militants of ISIL have committed sexual violence and rights abuses, vowing Can$10 million (US$9 million) to assist the victims of such crimes in Iraq and Syria.
Foreign Minister John Baird told Canada’s parliament on Monday that the terror group’s brutality is “matched only by its depravity.”
He added that in one case over the summer the ISIL terrorists “herded up 150 women and girls” and sent them to Syria to be given to fellow militants “either as a reward or to be sold as sex slaves.”
The minister further said Can$5 million will be granted to Justice Rapid Response and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights to launch an investigation into reported rapes and rights abuses.
Another Can$5 million will be used for the prevention of and response to sexual violence, including greater access to services and treatment for Syrian and Iraqi refugees as well as other victims of ISIL violence.
Earlier in October, the UN mission in Iraq reported that nearly 500 Izadi and Christian women and girls have been given to the ISIL or trafficked for sale at markets in Mosul in Iraq and Raqqa in Syria.
Washington has been supporting militants operating against the government in Syria since March 2011. Many ISIL terrorists have reportedly received training by the CIA in Jordan and Turkey.
Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey are said to be the main regional states rendering support for the ISIL militants that currently control large areas of Syria and Iraq.
