nsnbc : A recently declassified CIA document from 1955 discusses the presence of the allegedly deceased German leader Adolf Hitler among German expatriates with National Socialist ties in post Colombia.
The CIA document which was classified as “secret” was wired from the head of CIA’s bureau in Caracas, Venezuela, on October 3, 1955 and claimed that Hitler was alive and well. It was contained in the cache of recently released files on the murder of former President John F. Kennedy.
Allied armed forces said in 1945 Adolf Hitler had taken his own life to avoid capture in Berlin but other, among others Soviet and British documents have long proven that even the allies had doubts about Hitlers alleged suicide in the “Führerbunker” in Berlin in 1945.
The 1955 CIA document in question is a letter sent to Washington by CIA agent David Brixnor in which he writes that Adolf Hitler Hitler may be alive and was reportedly seen talking to a former German SS trooper named Phillip Citroen who was believed to be in regular contact with Hitler in Colombia. The document was wired from the head of CIA’s bureau in Caracas, Venezuela, on October 3, 1955. (link to CIA archives HERE)
“CIMELODY-3 [a code name] was contacted on 29 September 1955 by a trusted friend who served under his command in Europe and who is presently residing in Maracaibo,” the acting intelligence chief in Caracas, Venezuela sent to his supervisor days later, on October 3, 1955.
“CIMELODY-3’s friend stated that during the latter part of September 1955, Phillip CITROEN, former German SS trooper, stated to him confidentially that Adolph HITLER is still alive,” read the memo.
“CITROEN commented that inasmuch as ten years have passed since the end of World War II, the Allies could no longer prosecute HITLER as a criminal of war,” it added.
In the declassified document, a photo is attached, showing an “Adolf Schüttelmayer” seated next to a companion.
“The person on the left is alleged to be CITROEN and the person on the right is undoubtedly the person which CITROEN claims is HITLER. The back side of the photograph contained the following data: ‘Adolf Schüttelmayer, Tunja, Colombia, 1954′,” read the document.
Many researchers have since 1945 traced Adolf Hitler to Brazil and Argentina, with the most credible research linking Hitler to the German expatriates communities in Argentina. The now released CIA document is also claiming that “[Citroen] also stated Hitler left Colombia for Argentina around January, 1955.”
There has until now not been given any explanation as to why the now released document was contained in files classified in relation to the assassination of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy, who was gunned down in Dallas on November 22, 1963.
