In the Cuddly Critters section of CFFS 2016, Cloudy Goats was screened together with 16 other animations from several countries including Russia, the US, Colombia, Australia, Canada, Lithuania, Switzerland, Taiwan, Italy, Germany and Poland.

Incorporating a combination of 3D and 2D techniques, the five-minute animation has been produced by the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children & Young Adults-Kanoon-Iran (IIDCYA) and has so far attended 13 international film festivals in the US, Canada, Italy, France, Sweden, Australia, Argentina and India.

An adaptation of Iranian writer Afsaneh Shaban Nejhad’s book and directed by Hamid Karimian, Cloudy Goats tells the story of a young lamb who is lost, alone and scared on the mountainside before he is rescued by a shepherd with a flute, a herd of goats and a beautiful soaring bird.
