Anyone refusing you entry or service risks 5 years in jail or 500 penalty points which equates to $111,000. This applies to employees as well as business owners.
This will be particularly useful in hospitality locations and where employers are obliging employees to be the enforcers.
Tell the individual/s in the nicest possible way) that although the Government is telling them to enforce the use of COVIDSafe that they have placed all legal liability on the persons enforcing this ‘rule’.
Its a clever fear ploy that governments use to get the public to enforce rules that they themselves cannot. The government threatens businesses with fines, closure, etc if they do not enforce the ‘rule’.
Get them to read the document and refer them to the government website. Then all they have to do is no longer comply.
Please try not to be aggressive as the businesses will probably have no idea that the government has put them on the spot whilst protecting itself from liability. Remember we are all victims of this government scam. Indeed they may be happy to be off the hook!

(1) A person commits an offence if the person requires another person to:
(a) download COVIDSafe to a communication device; or
(b) have COVIDSafe in operation on a communication device; or
(c) consent to uploading COVID app data from a communication device to the National COVIDSafe Data Store.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 5 years or 300 penalty units, or both.
