DNC E-Mail Server Remains Hidden from Russia Kookspiracy Investigators

The FBI never independently analyzed the DNC e-mail server that has been at the center of the Russian kookspiracy. All computer forensics originated from CrowdStrike, a private firm with a questionable reputation.

It only took a year, but finally people are asking serious questions about the server that has been at the center of all these Russian kookspiracy claims.

Washington Times:

It is perhaps the key piece of forensic evidence in Russia’s suspected efforts to sway the November presidential election, but federal investigators have yet to get their hands on the hacked computer server that handled email from the Democratic National Committee.

Indeed, the only cybersecurity specialists who have taken a look at the server are from CrowdStrike, the Irvine, California-based private cybersecurity company that the DNC hired to investigate the hack — but which has come under fire itself for its work.

Some critics say CrowdStrike’s evidence for blaming Russia for the hack is thin. Members of Congress say they still believe Russia was responsible but wonder why the DNC has never allowed federal investigators to get a look at the key piece of evidence: the server. Either way, a key “witness” in the political scandal consuming the Trump administration remains beyond the reach of investigators.

“I want to find out from the company [that] did the forensics what their full findings were,” Sen. Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican who is leading the Judiciary Committee’s inquiry, told The Washington Times.

Scrutinizing the DNC server hack and CrowdStrike’s analysis has not factored heavily in multiple probes exploring the Russia issue. But behind the scenes, discussions are growing louder, congressional sources say.

The entire Russian kookspiracy has been based solely on CrowdStrike’s analysis of the DNC server. It has literally been taken as gospel. CrowdStrike itself has historic connections to powerful people in the Democrat party. It even received financing from Google, whose management is closely aligned with the Democrats.

On top of that, the FBI never did an independent analysis of the server.

It appears as if CrowdStrike was told to manufacture a narrative that the server was hacked by the Russians. This was used to claim that the DNC e-mail dump published by Wikileaks was part of a major Russian plot to disrupt the elections.

DNC staffer Seth Rich was murdered after the DNC e-mails were published by Wikileaks. DC Police claimed he was robbed even though the “robbers” never bothered to take his wallet.

Wikileaks has consistently denied that the Russians were the source of the DNC e-mails. Combine that with the suspicious murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich and you have lots of unanswered questions. Many believe that Rich was the real source of the leak and he was murdered in retaliation.

This shows that the Russian kookspiracy is in shambles. These are questions many of us have been asking since this whole thing became news. They are now being asked by people in positions of power and that’s a good sign.

There definitely seems to be much more to the Rich murder. Hopefully investigators are able to shed more light on that. One can only imagine where that might lead.
