McNabb didn’t spend his entire NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles organization, but his time there was his most notable. In particular, the Eagles and McNabb enjoyed much success during the early 2000s. From 2001 to 2004, McNabb helped to lead the Eagles to four consecutive NFC East division championships and five NFC Championship Games. They also had one Super Bowl appearance during McNabb’s tenure; they were defeated by the New England Patriots.
McNabb holds many franchise records, including all-time leader in career wins, pass attempts, pass completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns. He occupied the Eagles’ starting quarterback role from 1999 to 2009. After leaving the Eagles, he played briefly for both the Washington Redskins and the Minnesota Vikings.
