Finland supports Iran’s N. rights

“We are pleased with the progress made in the nuclear negotiations with Iran and will render all our support to the negotiations to reach a final deal within the agreed timeline,” Tuomioja said in a meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in Tehran on Sunday.

He underlined that his country completely shares Iran’s view that the talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, Britain and France plus Germany) should produce win-win results.

Tuomioja pointed to his country’s use of the peaceful nuclear technology, including the construction of four nuclear power plants, and said, “A country which is itself using nuclear facilities cannot impede other countries’ civilian use of the nuclear energy.”
