Food Shortages Hitting A Critical Crisis Point In America – Visual Evidence That Things Are Far Worse Than What The Media Is Telling You

The sign above was sent to ANP by a reader in NW New Jersey – a rural area and the date shown in the bottom right side is August 24, 2021, giving us a time frame of when this particular store in this state printed up those signs and started announcing they were having supply chain issues.
The message accompanying the image said:

Hi Susan and Stefan,
Saw this sign on Monday when I went to the store. This is in NW New Jersey – a rural area. Forgot to take a picture but the butter section was low too.
Will keep on sending as I can.

As seen in previous food shortage pieces in this continuing series, milk, creamers, eggs and dairy seem to be products where we are seeing shortages in multiple states from one end of the country to the other, with this being the first image of a sign like this that has been sent to ANP during this second wave of supply chain shortages, even before the nation had a chance to catch up from the first round.
In the images our wonderful readers have sent since the last article on food shortages, we see a continuing pattern of specific types of foods, drinks and other products, being depleted from store shelves, while other states and/or store chains have different issues beginning, helping to show us what we need to be stocking up on before it is too late, and too expensive, even when purchasing online.
Before getting into the pictures sent showing the massively increased prices for meats, especially in comparison to a year ago, or even two, and the empty shelves from different states, we want to once again thank our readers.
Having so many different readers sending us visual evidence of what is happening, and how serious the issue is, despite being downplayed by the MSM, does a better job informing and offering proof of the assertions, that a million typed words could.

The only reason I used an image from a previous piece above , is to prove our assertion that milk, eggs, and dairy of different forms is turning into a serious food supply issue from coast-to-coast, as multiple readers have noticed, some of which have sent over images of those sections.

SHORTAGES IN LOUISVILLE, KY

The image above and those directly below are from a Kroger in Louisville KY. The cold cuts are yet another section where we have seen in previous emails an issue with different stores, in different states seemingly having an issue with keeping them stocked.
The reader stated in the email with the cold cut section images “The cold case meat items have been out for as long as I can remember.”

Gatorade, again we used an image in the last piece, showing the same type of empty Gatorade section in another state/store.
This is indicative of a supply chain or manufacturer issue rather than a particular store simply having a problem with their ordering process.
Same goes for sodas or as some would call them, pops. Previously people have shown us images of single rows of Pepsi products with no products behind the first row, and now we see it goes beyond Pepsi and into other brands of soft drinks.

The next two images comes to us from a Giant’s store in South Central PA, with the following note:

Good evening, Susan and Stefan! The attached photos were taken today in my local Giant’s here in South Central PA. I have been unable to purchase my canned pet food here (Nature’s Promise, grain-free) for months. I’ve been buying a different brand at my local Tractor Supply, although the inventory there is not looking much better.

Once again we note a pattern as we were sent empty shelf images from someone previously informing us of pet food and supply shortages, with some specifically noting their favorites brands are just gone, they cannot find them.

MORE PA SHORTAGES

The next set and the one above is from PA as well, taken at Walmart and Giant, by a different reader.
When we noted in our last piece that images showed shortages in bulk cans of tomato sauces, I said “Apparently spaghetti sauces are also a problem at that store, which means pasta is not far behind,” and sure enough, today we have images from one of our PA readers that pasta is now showing signs of depleted shelving.

The Walmart images the PA reader sent is interesting as well where we see their shoe/boot/slipper aisle hauntingly bare.

Last but not least from PA’s Giant, we see more empty space in the refrigerator/freezer section than we see stocked.

PRICE SPIKES IN NEW JERSEY

The next reader has been tracking the spiking prices for meats in New Jersey, at both Costco and Shop Rite, and as she points out, she saves the images to show her grown kids because “Nothing gets the point across the seeing an item double in price – a picture truly is worth a thousand words.”

This is from a Costco in NW New Jersey. Yes, prime cuts but ouch!!
I had sent some pictures to you a few weeks ago showing the great increases in the price per pound for I think it was pork London broil and pork chops. I am keeping my eye on this and if I see more changes I will send those to you. I have been keeping these photos in my phone to show my grown kids what I mean when I say “stock up as best you can”. Nothing gets the point across the seeing an item double in price – a picture truly is worth a thousand words.

The first two were sent in early September, so it is noteworthy to see the date she circled.

The next two were sent a few weeks ago from the same reader, offering us a look into the changing prices. 
Correction: Note from original emailer – It went from $2.69 a pound to $5. 49 a pound! That’s what you call sticker shock! (Thanks!)

As we have suggested before, getting freeze dried meats can often do the job, at least for salads, soups, stews and casseroles, saving the need to purchase meats from the store for meals where you are eating meat separately from your vegetables.
Freeze dried is expensive, but the benefits outweigh the cost as a handful added with veggies can make a meal, the shelf life is more than a decade to 25 years, and using it per meal, makes it so nothing goes to waste.

BOTTOM LINE

We see a story here and there in the MSM, informing us that there is a small problem and/or talking about inflation, but the visual evidence from all across the country tells us a different tale.
It shows us that we are hitting a critical point and the media is downplaying the severity of the issue.
In the first video below the videographer starts walking through the store with her camera on around the 52 second mark, and it shows what our readers are reporting, empty and depleted shelves with whole sections missing.
