Two girls have allegedly assaulted a woman and stolen her car in western Sydney.
The 15-year-olds walked up to the woman after she parked her car in in Colo Lane, Blacktown, about 8.45am (AEDT) on Tuesday.
It’s alleged one of the girls demanded she hand over money and then grabbed her handbag.
She allegedly took the woman’s car keys before throwing the bag back and taking off in the car.
Officers discovered the woman’s car crashed into a concrete wall and four cars parked nearby were also damaged.
The teenagers were arrested in Blacktown about four hours later and charged with a number of offences.
In a separate incident, a 13-year-old girl allegedly cut a taxi driver in the arm with a knife in the NSW Illawarra.
She was one of four who tried to do a runner without paying their fare about 2pm (AEDT) on Tuesday.
