“Godfather” Of The NRA, Alexander Torshin

Disclaimer: I am not against the Second Amendment. I’m actually further to the right than the NRA on many civil liberties issues regarding the subject of firearms. After I wrote the article below I wanted to figure out why the NRA lost its influence in Washington to the point where the president of the United States doesn’t believe in due process when it comes to owning firearms.

Alexander Torshin, the “Godfather” of the Taganskaya crime syndicate, a former KGB officer, a friend of Putin and a current FSB official, is a member of the NRA, and his membership provides him access to Donald Trump.

The access to which I am referring is from the Red mafia, not the Russian people. There is no evidence of ethnic Russian collusion with Trump, but there is sky-high evidence of collusion with a foreign government named Israel; case and point, AIPAC. The infiltrators of the NRA want to bring back Stalinist Russia and view Israel as their homeland.

In 2015 NRA leaders met with Torshin in Moscow at Stalin’s Bunker 42, now turned into a luxurious restaurant. Torshin meeting the NRA to lobby for gun rights in Russia is a farce because Putin does not permit any sort of gun rights inside of Russia, and neither did Stalin.

Donald Trump Jr., the POTUS’ son, talked with Alexander Torshin, and the deputy head of the country’s central bank, at an event hosted by the National Rifle Association in Kentucky in May 2016. The meeting was setting up a back-channel dialogue between Donald J. Trump and Vladimir V. Putin.

Dianne Feinstein, an Israeli agent and a faux-Senator from California, is the Democrat snake head of the Senate Committee of the Judiciary. NYT reported she “penned letters to several Trump campaign foreign policy advisers last week asking for all documents related to the N.R.A., Mr. Erickson, Mr. Torshin, Mr. Clay, Mr. Dearborn and others.” Feinstein is working in tandem with Putin’s network to disarm the Goyim.

NYT:

Mr. Torshin … served in the upper house of the Russian Parliament and also sat on the country’s National Anti-Terrorism Committee, a separate government council that includes the director of the Federal Security Service, known as F.S.B., and the ministers of defense, interior and foreign affairs. Spanish investigators claim Mr. Torshin laundered money for the Russian mob through Spanish banks and properties while he was in Parliament…

Newsweek:

In 2016, Bloomberg reported that police in Spain believed Torshin was the “godfather” of the Taganskaya crime syndicate and had helped its members launder money. He’s also been linked to the Trumps before: In 2015, he said he personally met the billionaire.

Yahoo News:

Torshin has been on the radar of international law enforcement officials as a result of a long-running Spanish police investigation into a Russian organized crime syndicate known as the Taganskaya. The group has been accused of laundering profits from racketeering, extortion and other criminal activities through real estate and hotel investments on the Spanish island of Mallorca. Spanish police have made several arrests in connection with the investigation, and an alleged leader of the group, a Russian businessman named Alexander Romanov, pleaded guilty to money-laundering charges in the case last year. [The Spanish newspaper El País] reports that Spanish national police had wiretapped Romanov and recorded 33 telephone conversations he had with Torshin in which the accused mobster referred to the Russian banker as “el padrino,” or godfather.

NYT:

Mr. Torshin served in the upper house of the Russian Parliament and was a member of the country’s National Anti-Terrorism Committee, a government body that includes the ministers of defense, interior and foreign affairs and the director of the Federal Security Service, known as F.S.B., the K.G.B.’s successor. He has been a leading advocate of gun rights in Russia and of more closely linking the government and the Russian Orthodox Church.”

ProPublica:

McClatchy Newspapers reported that the FBI is investigating whether Torshin, now a deputy governor of Russia’s central bank, funneled money to the National Rifle Association that was subsequently spent in support of the Trump campaign. The NRA reported spending $30 million on advertisements and other aid to Trump, part of a record $55 million that the group spent during the 2016 campaign cycle, according to the McClatchy story. […]

..a Taganskaya figure described by the Spaniards as an associate of Torshin “may have been running financial operations for deceased thief-in-law Vyacheslav Ivankov” — a notorious mobster who during the 1990s spent time in New York and reportedly lived in Trump Tower for a while.

Mother Jones reported on March 8, 2018

Alexander Torshin and his protégé Maria Butina also share an extraordinary status with America’s largest gun lobbying group, according to Torshin: “Today in NRA (USA) I know only 2 people from the Russian Federation with the status of ‘Life Member’: Maria Butina and I,” he tweeted the day after Donald Trump was elected president.

Are you ready to have your blood boil?

In 2018, inside the NRA there are Soviet spies that pose as gun enthusiasts, but feel Stalin is a misunderstood national hero. The GOP are working in concert with them to disarm Americans using Soviets tactics. Butina pays lip service to being pro-freedom for Russians.

I wouldn’t be surprised if every NRA meeting now has a bottle of Kalashnikov Vodka with a Hammer and Sickle imprinted on it, to toast to fleecing the Goyim.

Daily Beast:

On Nov. 12, 2016, shortly after the election of President Donald Trump, Butina held a birthday party at Cafe Deluxe near American University, where she attends graduate school classes. The event was a costume party attended by Trump campaign aides and Erickson, who told guests that he was on the Trump presidential transition team. She dressed as Russian Empress Alexandra while Erickson was dressed as Rasputin.

As chilled vodka flowed through an ice sculpture—a bottle imprinted with the Soviet hammer and sickle—she took some time to brag. She brazenly claimed that she had been part of the Trump campaign’s communications with Russia, two individuals who were present said. On other occasions, in one of her graduate classes, she repeated this claim.

“She said so in my class. And she said so several times in the last semester,” Svetlana Savranskaya, Butina’s former American University professor and a staffer at the National Security Archive, told The Daily Beast. “She is a former journalist, so she keeps up her connections in Russia. And she also works and [claims to] keep connections with a member of the Russian Duma.”

Erickson and Butina have been seen in public frequently, at the invitation-only Freedom Ball after Trump’s inauguration; and holding court at Russia House, a Russian-themed bar in Washington, D.C.’s Dupont Circle. At one such gathering in the fall of 2016 Erickson bragged that he was advising the Trump transition team, according to two sources who were present; he is also said to have told a story about introducing Mikhail Kalashnikov, inventor of the AK-47, to former NRA president David Keene. (Kalashnikov allegedly inspired the creation of “The Right to Bear Arms,” Butina’s gun rights group.)

The two appear to have gotten close: Erickson formed a limited liability corporation with Butina in February 2016, according to the South Dakota secretary of state. It is unclear what this organization, Bridges, LLC, actually does. (Despite living in Washington, D.C., Butina has a cellphone number with a South Dakota area code.) As a former board member of the American Conservative Union—an influential conservative group that puts on the annual Conservative Political Action Conference—Erickson has a formidable network of contacts on the right. For example, he served on the American Conservative Union board with Becky Norton Dunlop, a senior Trump transition team official.
