A three-car pile-up that forced the closure of the F3 southbound at Mt White, north of Sydney, this morning has been cleared and the freeway reopened.
Two people were injured in the crash, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 80s.
Both were taken to Royal North Shore hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Initially police closed all lanes on the F3 southbound, causing long delays, but the freeway reopened before 11am.
Traffic is now flowing normally throughout the area.
An earlier crash on the F3 at Calga around 8am has closed one southbound lane, after a car with two elderly passengers left the road, went over an embankment and flipped, landing on its roof.
Both occupants were taken to Royal North Shore and are in a stable condition.
Traffic accident investigators are still on the scene, and minor delays are expected due to the lane closure.
