Helicopter on way to man trapped in rocks

A man is stuck in rocks in the NSW Illawarra after a four-metre fall.

An ambulance spokesman said a rescue helicopter is on the way to the man, who is aged in his fifties.

The man apparently fell onto the rocks at Belmore Basin in Wollongong on Saturday night.
