This useful infographic from Personal Creations (a California gift company that produced this for God knows what reason) breaks down how long it will take you to devour some of the best books in popular literature. The goal, they claim, is to help readers make time for books in the chaos of their daily lives.
Personal Creations calculated the number of hours it would take — which they define at reading and comprehending 300 words per minute, the upper limit of the eye’s capacity to comprehend text — to finish 64 of the world’s most popular books, including F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, Lois Lowry’s The Giver and Madeline L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time.
