Jim Willis – Out of Eden

Jim Willis

Theologian, historian, and musician, Jim has written more than a dozen books on religion, the apocalypse, cross-cultural spirituality, and arcane or buried cultures, and the study of earth energy, dowsing, and out-of-body experience.  His current residence in the woods of South Carolina inspired his books  Supernatural Gods: Spiritual Mysteries, Psychic Experiences, and Scientific Truths,  Ancient Gods: Lost Histories, Hidden Truths and the Conspiracy of Silence,  and Censoring God: The History of the Lost Books (and other Excluded Scriptures).  In this conference, Jim will provide us with differing interpretations on a foundational myth of at least three great world religions  – the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden.  Some read it as history, others view it as a metaphor. What if both interpretations are, in a very real sense, true?

Petros Koutoupis – The Origins of Ancient Greek Creation

Petros Koutoupis

Petros is an author and historical researcher focusing on the Late Bronze and Early Iron Age periods of the Eastern Mediterranean and general Near East. Fluent in modern Greek, Petros has additional knowledge in ancient and Biblical Greek, Biblical Hebrew, Aramaic, Ugaritic, Phoenician, and Akkadian. He has always relied on the original sources for interpreting some of our most misunderstood historical and mythological texts. His most recent book is:  Biblical Origins: An Adopted Legacy.  Petros will explore the likely  origins of Greek creation  and examine the many similarities found in neighboring nations. Who or what influenced the early poets who sang these mythical stories to the tune of a lyre?

Ted Loukes – Zep Tepi

After publishing his first book,  Moses and Akhenaten: Brothers in Alms , Ted’s passion for Egypt led to the creation of GnT Tours, running small private tours to the tombs and temples of the sprawling necropolis on the West Bank, Luxor. His latest book  Forty Days in Egypt in the Time of Corona  was a result of getting stranded as the world went into lockdown with Covid-19. At the conference, Ted will delve into  four different ancient Egyptian creation stories.  To see the common elements we must go back to Zep Tepi – the First Time. This is where it all began!

Dr. Willem McLoud – Creation Myths from Ancient Sumer

Dr. Willem McLoud

Willem is a South African scholar with a PhD in Nuclear Physics (Nuclear Fusion), a MSc in Physics, a MA in Philosophy of Science, an Honors degree in Philosophical Hermeneutics and an MBL.  He has developed a new ancient Middle Eastern chronological model which has been confirmed by the discovery of a cuneiform text pertaining to the Epic of Gulkišar, which has been published in a peer reviewed journal.  Willem’s presentation discusses the  oldest stories about creation –  two opposing traditions from ancient Sumer.  He’ll also tell us  how these traditions had a major impact on later Mesopotamian tradition, not only of the Babylonians but even of the Hebrews!

Ashley Cowie – Exploring the Spheres of Andean Creation Mythology

Ashley Cowie

Ashley Cowie is a Scottish historian, filmmaker, and author. During the conference Ashley will discuss the complex  creation mythologies of cultures in South America.  He’ll explore the themes associated with Viracocha of the Incas, Chimnigagua of the Muiscas, and many other creation deities, and examine the commonalities of the archetypes within indigenous myths, revealing where 16th century Spanish missionaries bent the original stories and heroes to suit their Christian narrative.

Martini Fisher   – How to Create the World

Martini Fisher

Martini Fisher is a mythographer and author. Her first published work is “Wayang: Stories of the Shadow Puppets,” a look at the ancient stories of Javanese creation myths from a traditional performing arts standpoint. With Mathematician Dr. R.K Fisher, Martini wrote another series of books, “Time Maps.” At this conference, Martini will take you on a journey through  the creation of the world  in various myths – Hawaiian, Mesopotamian, Japanese, and Chinese creation stories will all be explored.

Hugh Newman and Jim Vieira – Giants: A Lost Chapter in the Origins of Humankind

Hugh Newman and Jim Vieira

Hugh Newman is a world explorer, megalithomaniac, and author of  Earth Grids: The Secret Pattern of Gaia’s Sacred Sites . He has been a regular guest on History Channel’s  Ancient Aliens  and Search for the Lost Giants  and is currently involved in  Road 2 Ruins The Alaska Triangle The UnXplained Forbidden History In Search of Monsters , and  Ancient Tomorrow  documentary projects / TV Shows.  Jim Vieira is a stonemason, author, explorer, and host of the History Channel shows  Search for the Lost Giants Roanoke: Search for the Lost Colony,  and Return to Roanoke: Search the Seven . Hugh and Jim have co-written the book  Giants On Record: America’s Hidden History, Secrets in the Mounds and the Smithsonian Files . They have teamed up for this conference to present on  giants in  myths and creation stories  – unlocking hidden truths embedded in the stories, the stones, and the landscape.

Dr. Philip Jamieson –  Australasian Myths of Human Origin

Dr. Philip Jamieson

Dr. Philip Jamieson is a retired former academic and researcher who now pursues his interests in ancient cultures, mythology, animal welfare, spirituality, and the environment. He has been widely published over the past 30 years, contributing to numerous journals and magazines including  Ancient Origins. Dr. Jamieson  will be covering the creation traditions amongst  Australia’s Aboriginal peoples, New Zealand’s Māori  with their Polynesian heritage and their Melanesian neighbors .

Andreas Kornevall – The Birth of Wisdom: A deep journey into the Viking Creation Myth

Andreas Kornevall

Andreas Kornevall is a Swedish storyteller, independent scholar of Norse myth, writer, and ecologist. As an ecologist he directs the Earth Restoration Service Charity and the co-founder of the Life Cairn – the world’s first memorial for human caused extinctions. He is currently teaching Norse Seidr (Shamanism) at the College of Psychic Studies, London and in the Wyrd School, Burren, Ireland. Join Andreas to discover the story and rich symbolism  of the Norse creation myth . He’ll illuminate the Eddic texts and take us on the lesser known branches of the great World Tree (Yggdrasil), where we will hear about reconciliation as a road to wisdom and the mythical underpinnings of climate change and its central relationship to grief: these subjects will make the presentation truly contemporary with the creation myth as guide. This presentation will be particularly designed for those with an interest in witchcraft, runes, alchemy, symbolism, Norse culture, and Paganism.

Gary A David  – Hopi Cosmogenesis, the Four Worlds, and the Orion Zone

Gary A David

Gary A David is an author and independent researcher who has studied Southwestern archaeological ruins and rock art for nearly thirty years. He has written several books about the Hopi and other ancestral Pueblo cultures of Arizona and New Mexico, including  Journey of the Serpent People: Hopi Migrations and Star Correlations.  Gary will explore  who the Hopi are, where they live, and how they conceptualize the Creation.  He’ll also describe the way they saw time as being cyclic, and the Four “Worlds” or Epochs the Hopi have experienced. Gary reveals how this originally migratory tribe also recognized an “Orion Correlation” in the American Southwest (similar to the
template of the Giza pyramids), where the belt stars directly correspond to the three primary mesas upon which the Hopi eventually settled.
