RAMALLAH, (PIC)– The Israeli prison service (IPS) isolated the Palestinian prisoner Lina Al-Jarboni after she refused to end her hunger strike that started last Tuesday.

Jarboni, the oldest serving Palestinian female prisoner, came under heavy pressures from the Hasharon prison administration to end her strike but to no avail.

Relatives of the prisoner said that IPS special forces took Jarboni, 37, from Hasharon to solitary confinement in Ramle jail.

Jarboni hails from Arraba Al-Batuf in 1948 occupied Palestine and is the Palestinian women prisoners’ representative.
