FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda An Eye for an Eye will be released by Mehrandish Publications in Persian.
Bahrami spared her attacker Majid Movahedi who sprayed acid on her face in 2004 after his marriage proposal was rejected by Bahrami.
Bahrami filed a lawsuit against Movahedi and asked for retributive justice.
In 2008, a court ruled that then 27-year-old Movahedi should be blinded with acid according to the ‘eye for an eye’ law. He was also sentenced to jail and ordered to pay compensation to Bahrami.
Movahedi’s sentence was cancelled when Bahrami spared him in the last moment.
An Eye for an Eye will be translated into English by Iranian scholar Ismail Salami who has published many books on Persian literature including English translations of modern and classical Persian poetry.
His English version of Diwan-e-Hafez, the collection of poems by the 14th century Persian poet, has been reissued numerous times in Iran and other countries.
Salami has also translated poems by renowned figures of modern Persian poetry such as Sohrab Sepehri, which were released in four books.
