Awake Goy April 30, The Iran Project – International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) Director-General says given Iran’s areas of investment in renewable energy sector, the country can be the future of energy market.
Speaking at the first-ever Iran-EU Business Forum on Sustainable Energy in Tehran on Sunday, Adnan Amin stated that Europe Union attaches great value to Iran’s capacities so it will provide proper opportunities for foreign investors to invest in the country’s energy market.
The IRENA official also referred to Iran’s high technical and engineering capabilities as the main factor for providing great economic and employment opportunities, stressing that Tehran has considerably advanced in the field of renewable energy.
Moreover, he pointed to Iran as a very strong market in the field of sustainable energy, adding Germany, Italy and Switzerland have signed many agreements with the Islamic Republic in this area.
More than 50 European companies and business associations and some 40 Iranian energy companies are participating at the Tehran forum with the purpose of enabling business relations and partnerships between Iran and the EU and laying the ground for further cooperation and joint partnerships in the energy sector.
It will provide a platform for investors and businesses to look into investment opportunities for clean energy, renewable energy efficiency and energy conservation actions in Iran.
