Israel approves building Jewish synagogue on stolen land

Days of Palestine, Jerusalem -Israeli occupation approved on Wednesday stealing of a Palestinian land in occupied Jerusalem to build a Jewish Synagogue.

Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported: “Jerusalem’s planning committee approved the expropriation of 1.2 dunams (0.3 acres) from a Palestinian neighborhood in Jerusalem,” the newspaper said.

It added: “The ground being taken is near the Jewish settlement of Nof Zion in East Jerusalem, surrounded by houses from Palestinian village of Jabal Mukkaber.”

Meanwhile, Safa news agency reported that the Israeli occupation authorities had started building a new settlement outpost in the heart of Hebron’s Old City.
