Israeli forces abduct 20 Palestinians

Israeli occupation forces abducted on Monday night, morning 20 Palestinians from West Bank and Gaza Strip, official sources said.

Palestinian Authority (PA) sources said that the Israeli occupation forces carried out night raids in several Palestinian towns and villages in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.

The sources said that the Israeli occupation forces abducted during their raids 11 Palestinian civilians from the occupied West Bank.

Citing the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club (PPC), Days of Palestine reporter said that the Israeli occupation forces abducted seven Palestinians from the occupied East Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats while fishing four nautical miles from the shore.

According to the PA sources, the Israeli occupation navy abducted two Palestinians fishermen after directly attacking their fishing boat and caused severe damage to it.

Israeli occupation forces raid Palestinian towns, villages and refugee camps in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem on a daily basis.

On average, they abduct at least 80 to 90 Palestinians from their homes during their night raids, a research based on UN documentation said.

Israeli occupation forces abducted 522 Palestinians, including 130 minors and 16 women during August, a PA report said.

The total number of Palestinians in Israeli prisons reached 6,300 prisoners, the report said, 64 of them women, including 10 girls under the age of 18 and 300 underage boys, 450 under administrative detention and 12 MPs.
