Israeli forces kill, critically wound Palestinian youths

Days of Palestine, Jerusalem -Israeli occupation forces shot dead, critically wounded on Wednesday two Palestinian youths in Jerusalem town of Al-Ram.

A third youth survived, but kidnapped by the Israeli occupation and turned to an unknown place, according to eyewitnesses.

The Palestinian, who was killed, was identified as Anwar al-Salaymeh, 22, from the Palestinian refugee camp of Shu’fat in Jerusalem. The other two youths were also from the same area.

Eyewitnesses told Days of Palestine that the three youths had a car at dawn and they drove around knowing nothing about the existence of the Israeli occupation forces.

Israeli media reported spokesperson of the Israeli occupation forces claiming the three Palestinians were shot at after attempted to run over Israeli soldiers in duty at the time of the attack.

However, the witnesses denied this claims, saying: “They were unaware of the existence of the Israeli soldiers,” noting that it is “illogical” that three people using the same vehicle attempt to kill an Israeli soldier.

A woman was standing at the balcony of her house when the incident took place reiterated that the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at the Palestinian vehicle from a very far distance.

Local Palestinian sources said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town at around 3am, closed several streets including the main highway and stormed a blacksmith shop claiming it was used to manufacture weapons.
