Israeli forces wound 34 Palestinians in West Bank, Gaza protests

Israeli occupation forces shout and wounded 34 Palestinians during Friday protests in West Bank and Gaza Strip, Palestinian health ministry said in a statement.

According to the statement, which was issued by the Spokesman of the Ministry in Gaza Ashraf al-Qidra, the Israeli occupation violently cracked down of the protesters in Gaza and wounded 25 of them.

“The Israeli occupation forces used live ammunition against the civilian protesters,” he said. The Palestinian protesters throw stones at heavily fortified Israeli checkpoints along the eastern borders of Gaza.

“one of the wounded civilians,” Al-Qidra said, “suffered serious wounds in one of his arms and had his figures amputated.”

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC) reported nine Palestinians were wounded as the Israeli occupation forces used live ammunition and tear gas to disperse Palestinian protesters in the occupied West Bank.

The PRC said that one of the Palestinians, who were shot with a live bullet, suffered a “very serous wound” in the head.

Both of the health ministry in Gaza and the PRC in the West Bank said that tens of Palestinian protesters received field treatment caused by the heavy use of tear gas by the Israeli occupation forces.
