Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is expected to begin his whirlwind tour of Australia on Saturday with a cooking class in Queensland.
The UK chef will visit his Ministry of Food centre in Ipswich, west of Brisbane, to share his skills in a class with 20 locals.
Oliver will be joined by television chef Ben O’Donoghue and Junior MasterChef judge Anna Gare.
About 650 people have bought tickets to the event.
The larrikin chef is expected to spend two days in Queensland before heading south to Sydney to visit his restaurant, Jamie’s Italian, on Monday.
The whirlwind tour will wind up in Melbourne on Wednesday.
