Speaking to IRNA on the sidelines of his visit to a sustainable agriculture project in Orumiyeh Lake field at Karadagh village in Mahabad, Haneda said the project commissioning Orumiyeh Lake basins follows a very good and promising process.
He said implementation of the sustainable agriculture in Orumiyeh Lake in cooperation with Japan, the UN Development Program (UNDP) and Iran can play important role in raising awareness for the revival of the lake.
He said, “Fortunately, the networks established by villagers in the rural areas, covered by the project are very suitable and public contribution to the project is praiseworthy.”
