Johnny Marr has just announced an 18-date North American tour in support of his highly-anticipated solo debut The Messenger out February 26. Kicking things off on April 11 in Las Vegas, the 3-week trek will include a stop at Coachella and two dates with New Order.
The release of The Messenger marks a significant milestone in Marr’s distinguished career. Gaining noteriety for his work as the creative force behind The Smiths, Marr has spent many years collaborating with bands like Talking Heads, Pet Shop Boys, The The, Modest Mouse, and The Cribs. Marr is one of the most influential guitarists in the history of contemporary music.
On Marr’s 18 date tour he will stop and play both weekends in the Coachella Valley arts & Music festival. Check out The Messenger in the interim.
