Leader pardons, commutes 631 prisoners

IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Wednesday pardoned or commuted prison terms of some 631 Iranian inmates.

The Leader’s decision comes upon a demand by Judiciary chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani on the eve of the 38th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
