FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda 
A man, 68, was lightly injured in the face Monday when a rock was thrown at his car as he drove past the Old City of Jerusalem.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene, near the Old City’s Dung Gate, and then took him to the capital’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center for further treatment.
It was not known who threw the rock at his car and no assailants were immediately reported to have been apprehended. There was also no immediate information on the identity or ethnicity of the victim.
Dung Gate is the entrance closest to the Western Wall plaza, one of the holiest sites in Judaism.
In a separate incident in East Jerusalem, a rock was hurled toward a group of lawmakers from the far-right Religious Zionism party making a visit to the Beit Orot Jewish enclave.
No injuries or damage were reported in that case. The MKs said they were visiting “to strengthen the Jewish residents who have been suffering lately from Arab aggression.”
The incidents came amid boiling tensions in and around the Old City that have seen nightly rioting for over a week.
Thousands of Palestinians have descended on Damascus Gate each night since Ramadan began on April 13 to protest a controversial police policy that barred Muslim worshipers from congregating in the area during the holy month of Ramadan. Dozens of police divider fences had been set up, along with armed officers ordered to prevent anyone from sitting on the steps.
Police scrapped the policy on Sunday.
There have also been clashes with Jewish extremists in the city, with some attacking Arab residents.
