Police allege a man used a front-end loader as a weapon during a drunken spree at a Queensland building site which did thousands of dollars of damage to buildings and equipment.
Police were called to the site at Emerald around 6.50pm (AEST) on Sunday evening, where four portable buildings, a shipping container, a prime mover, a rigid truck a bob cat and two utes had been damaged.
No one was harmed during the incident.
The 43-year-old Yeppoon man, who was at the site with two other men, was charged with wilful damage, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol and dangerous driving.
He is due to appear in Emerald Magistrates Court on Monday afternoon.
