A 23-year-old has been glassed during a fight in the carpark of a club north of Sydney.
Police were called just after 1.15am (AEDT) on Saturday about a fight at the Toronto Workers’ Club, near Newcastle.
When officers arrived at the hotel they found a 23-year-old man with wounds to his face.
He had allegedly been hit with a glass during a fight in the club carpark, police said.
He was taken to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital for treatment and a 31-year-old man was arrested and taken to Toronto Police Station.
He was questioned but was released without charge pending further investigations.
