A fifth of LNP supporters say they are disappointed in leader Campbell Newman since he took over the top job nearly a year ago.
A Galaxy Poll in The Courier-Mail shows Queensland voters are concerned about Mr Newman’s leadership of the Liberal National Party.
The poll shows 38 per cent of voters, including 20 per cent of the party’s own supporters, believe he has failed to live up to expectations in his performance.
But 46 per cent of voters disagree, indicating Mr Newman has lived up to expectations, while another eight per cent say he has exceeded their expectations.
The Courier-Mail says the result will give Labor hope as it faces an electoral rout.
