TEHRAN, May 02 (Shana) – Managing Director of National Iranian Gas Company(NIGC) Hamidreza Araqi and the President of Korean Gas Corporation (KOGAS) Seung-Hoon Lee signed a Memorandum of Understanding to boost bilateral cooperation.
In a ceremony held on Sunday, the two officials stressed development of all-out ties between Tehran and Seoul.
Referring to the NIGC five decade of experience in field of gas industry, Araqi said that NIGC is keen to enhance cooperation with KOGAS on all levels.
Seung-Hoon Lee, for his part, lauded Iran’s proved natural gas reserves and the country’s good capacity for production of natural gas.
He called his talks with his Iranian partner as constructive, adding that KOGAS is ready for promotion of cooperation with Iranian companies in all areas particularly LNG, the cross-country gas pipeline and transfer of technical knowledge.
