Norway keen to invest in Iran

TEHRAN, May 17 (Shana) — Norwegian Ambassador to Tehran Aud Lise Norheim said private and state-run companies in his country are willing to invest in different economic sectors of Iran.

In a meeting with Mohammad Khazaei, director general of the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran, in his Tehran office on Tuesday, Norheim indicated Norway’s interest to enhance economic ties with Iran.

He also called for identification and removal of hurdles to bolstering ties with Iran.

For his part, Khazaei elaborated on the investment potentialities and opportunities in Iran and called for improving mutual relations of the two countries.
