President Obama weighed in Friday on the shooting of unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin, calling it a national tragedy – and saying that the young man reminded him of his own children.

“When I think about this boy, I think about my own kids,” Obama said in Rose Garden remarks. “I think every parent in America should be able to understand why it is absolutely imperative that we investigate every aspect of this. And that everybody pull together.”

Obama has come under fire from some black leaders for failing to comment on a case that has become a major national story — and brought thousands of Americans into the streets for demonstrations calling for the arrest of Martin’s shooter. One black leader even wondered why Obama called a Georgetown student who was attacked by Rush Limbaugh, but not Martin’s family. Obama’s comments Friday represent the first time the president has addressed the growing controversy.

“My main message is to the parents of Trayvon Martin. You know, if I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon,” Obama said. “All of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves.”

This could be a tragedy that has no silver lining. A young man is killed by another young man , and the true circumstances may never be known. Now all the political hacks are benefitting once again from two shattered lives. We can’t comment on the law until all the events leading up to this are known. And if the law was broken, we cannot punish the lawful for the act of a criminal. Where was Al Sharpton when a white grocery store owner was murdered in Bell Glade, Fl a few months ago ? If we don’t stop All these political vampires from dividing us on racial terms in order to ultimately destroy us, then we are done as a society. That is why You will never get my guns. Im sorry, after actualy watching the video. Obama did handle it well. I did not know that it was a press confrence for something else, and the reporter asked him after the fact. I thought he was very fair with his statement. Still think this issue is black and white. Otherwise they would be focused on the 7 year old girl that got killed or the 11 in NY this weekend.

Considering that the POTUS, Barry ‘who ever he is’ was educated as a lawyer at Harvard (NWO training centre), then believe me his remarks were completely inappropriate for what could eventually become a Federal ‘hate’ crime criminal case as it will not give the accused ‘Zimmerman’ any semblance of a fair trial after killing the ‘Presidents’ Son.
He probably looks a lot like the innocents being murdered with CIA drones too. So stop the murdering asswipe.

Sadly, we really still are left in the dark as to what happened. I don’t believe this guy just decided to go after the kid, there had to be some action or previous event that lead up to this. I don’t like seeing punks in hoodies in my neighborhood either, but unless they’re doing something they shouldn’t be, I ignore them. This guy has gone into hiding so we don’t know his side of the story, just these racist ambulance chasers.

However, there are a few things to be aware of here. First, there’s NEVER any outrage over blacks or browns killing whites !!! Remember the 3 or so blacks that held 2 whites for 2 or 3 days in Tennessee tortured raped and killed them ? WHERE was the coverage ??? Where was the monkey with a bullhorn ??? Also, the anti gun freaks throw money behind stuff like this so not all the crowd gathering is necessarily ‘spontaneous.’

In a country this size … “shit happens.” The bullhorns only seem to come out when it’s a black victim. I don’t know. It’s just odd.

True, so I am not outraged over this event. It’s really a non issue for anyone outside of the city where it happened as we all have much bigger things to worry about. We cannot even get the full story of what happened so the media is hyping it because they are bored and love the racial overtones.
Trayvon Martin was on top of Zimmerman punching him when he was shot.
Besides the fact that almost all media outlets have lied about what race George Zimmerman is (he is a Latino/Mestizo), they are also censoring major important details of the case. Some have even published wild opinions about the 911 calls as if the opinions were factual statements.
