US President Barack Obama signaled he would pay for his $447 billion dollar jobs plan by raising taxes on the rich and energy corporations and demanded that Congress pass it right away.

The president, seeking to reset his under-pressure presidency and slice away at 9.1 percent unemployment, sent the bill to lawmakers and warned Republicans on Monday not to slow it down with “political games” at a time of great national urgency.

But Obama, by deciding to finance the bill by ending tax breaks for oil and gas firms and individuals earning over $200,000, set up a new showdown with his political foes — who have already rejected such methods in the past.

Now it’s $200,000.00? Before it was anyone $250,000 or moe.?? Shoot I don’t know about the rest of yall .. but I retired after 20yrs. state of UNafornia service because of R/A not wanting to take part in a way way way corrupt employment 20 years private enterprise before that.. and I hardly make anything .. and am still taxed heavily.

The picture looks like the “tribe” I witnessed down @ the la raza sponsored obaemmer speech pre-election down in SanDiego..or that church in So.CountyOrange..that wasn’t sponsored by la raza, but this same “tribal crew” was there in there “supplied” blue shirts and banners. The other major group was the RonPaul crew, by the way.. mostly ‘bad ol whiteys admittedly, but we had Americans of Black Brown heritage also..We not only have a President now with black skin that identifies with whatever group he’s around..but “always” with the blacks 100%..that’s just the way it is. I report what I’ve seen .. you decide the potential conclusions.

WE HAVE AN UNCOMPETETIVE PLAYING FIELD WITH RESPECT TO CORPORATIONS TOO MUCH TAX TOO HIGH OF RATES, TOO MANY REGULATIONS THAT IS WHY THEY OFFSHORE RIGHT??? THEN HOW COME THESE GUYS ARE HOLDING MORE PROFIT IN CASH THAN AT ANY POINT IN HISTORY?? IN OTHER WORDS THE US CORPORATIONS ARE RICHER THAN EVER IN SPITE OF THE DEPRESSION?? IT HAS TO BE EXPLAINED BY THE FACT THAT DEMAND FOR THESE CORP’S PRODUCTS IS STRONG OVERSEAS AND CAN BE INVISIBLE AT HOME WHILE THEY MAKE BILLIONS OVERSEAS, AND SO US CORPS ARE RICH BUT ALL PRODUCTION IS OVERSEAS AND ALL DEMAND IS OVERSEAS AND SO ARE THE JOBS. THIS IS NOT ACTUALLY THE CASE NEITHER, ITS NOT THIS SIMPLE, THE WEALTH GAP IS PART DUMB YOUNG PEOPLE NOT ACCELING IN THE NEW WORLD ECONOMY AND HALF OLD PEOPLE NOT ABLE TO FIND NEW INNOVATIVE JOBS AS THE OLD SKOOL JOBS VANISH. THIS IS HARD TO OVERCOME WHEN THE CORPS HAVE MONEY POWER LOBBYISTS AND CHEAP LABOR OVERSEAS AND VIRTUALLY NOTHING HOLDING THEM BACK. IT IS TIME TO GET RID OF THE IRS AND ALL INCOME BASED TAXES, GO TO A USE TAX COMPLETELY, IT WOULD SAVE TRILLIONS AND ELIMINATE GOVT BUREACRACY, AS ALL SALES TAXES CAN BE COLLECTED AT THE ELECTRONIC REGISTER, NO MORE IRS POLICE AND PRISONS ETC. NO MORE IRS LIENS AND JUDGEMENTS ETC. ITS TIME TO MOVE ON TO AMORE PROGRESSIVE ECONIMIC MODEL.
Well in theory it sounds right. The ones with profits paying more taxes. Problem, rich people are smart and shrewd. Thats how they have power and wealth. Im sure their laywers will figure out somehow they dont pay what their being asked. Leading back to more debt. I only know this about people and spending or getting them to let go of their cash. One, they gotta want it or need it. Do the rich wanna pay more taxes? Probably not. Do they need more taxes to do business? No. So what may seem like common sense and justice for common worker, is what it is, an attempt to make the little guy feel some hope. Better to feel that than no hope at all.
I suspect the govt will be hiring more cops to suppress the rest of us at the same time riasing our taxes which in the first place not one tax nickle goes to services but to just cover the interrest on the debt. Google: grace commimision.
