Obamacare and the Collapse of California

The majority of nonwhite invaders illegally resident in California will qualify for free Medicaid under the “Obamacare” system as that state rolls out its plan to give them free healthcare, an analysis of a study produced by the nonpartisan Public Policy Institute of California think tank has revealed.

The Public Policy Institute of California’s (PPIC) report, titled “Health Coverage and Care for Undocumented Immigrants,” revealed that “about half of California’s undocumented immigrants have incomes low enough to qualify for Medi-Cal (one of the largest Californian Medicaid schemes) should coverage be offered to them.”

According to the report, the state of California—which became majority nonwhite several years ago, due to the ongoing Latin American invasion—will soon extend Medi-Cal coverage to what it calls “undocumented children and already provides it to some low-income undocumented immigrants.” (“Undocumented” is the official code word for illegal immigrants, which the controlled media has being using since 2013.)

The report said that since the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) more than two million uninsured Californians have “gained” health insurance coverage. Conversely, high rates of “uninsurance,” they said, have considerable financial implications for hospital systems, which are charged with providing care regardless of insurance coverage.

The PPIC report went on to say that “in spite of the relative success of the ACA expansions, millions of Californians remain uninsured” and that “undocumented immigrants” comprise the largest segment of this group.

To be eligible for Medi-Cal,  a person must not earn more than 138 percent of the federal poverty level (FPL), which translates to about $33,500 for a family of four.

The study estimates that there are approximately 2.6 million illegal immigrants living in California, and approximately 1.4 million would be eligible for Medi-Cal benefits.

In some areas, such as Los Angeles County, the number of illegal immigrants eligible rises to 58 percent.

Critics of California’s immigration policy described the findings as evidence of the “self-inflicted costs” the state has incurred due to poor policy decisions.

“This is a consequence of policies California has implemented over many years that have induced a lot of people to settle in California who will rely heavily on government services,” a spokesman for the Federation for American Immigration Reform, was quoted as saying.

“These are the self-inflicted costs of essentially saying to people, ‘come here and settle illegally and take advantage of us.’”

Senator Ricardo Lara advocates expanding health insurance to all illegal immigrants in the state. An early version of his bill failed after being priced at more than $1 billion, the LA Times reported.

About 15 million Hispanics lived in California on July 1, 2014, compared to roughly 14.9 million non-Hispanic whites, according to US Census Bureau estimates. California has six times as many Hispanics today as it did in 1970.

At the same time—and directly as a result of this Third World invasion—California’s once blossoming economy has nose-dived.

The state has the second-highest unemployment rate of any state in the nation. The San Francisco and San Jose metro regions, which added more than 1.1 million new jobs from 1992–2000, produced fewer than 70,000 jobs between 2000 and 2008—a drop-off of 95 percent.

Nearly a quarter of the state’s 38 million residents (8.9 million) live in poverty, according to the US Census Bureau. The only other state to approach California in the alternate rankings is Nevada at 20 percent, although Washington DC is close at 22.4 percent—and for the same reason.

A February 2015 report revealed that California’s child poverty rate—27 percent—is the worst in the nation, five points higher than the second-worst states, Arizona and Nevada.
