Awake Goy Palestinian teen Ahmed abu-Helo, 19, from Gaza Strip succumbed to wounds sustained in Israeli crackdown on protests staged against US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
The Palestinian teen was wounded when an Israeli occupation sniper shot him in the head during protests took place in Al-Burij Refugee Camp on Friday.
Spokesman of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza Ashraf al-Qidra said that the Palestinian paramedics did their best to save the teen’s life, but failed due to the lack of proper medical service in Gaza hospitals.
Palestinians have been staging protests on Fridays since 6 December 2017, when the US President Donald Trump recognised Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
