A man’s body has been found in a north Queensland river.
Police are appealing for public assistance to identify the man, whose body was found in South Mossman River about 3pm (AEST) on Sunday.
The man is described as being Caucasian, aged between 20 and 40 and about 180cm tall.
“He has short dark brown hair, a short brown moustache and goatee-type beard and was wearing shorts and a necklace with a small ying-yang pendant attached to it,” a police spokesman said in a statement.
Police investigations are ongoing.
