FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda On Sunday, the protesters took to the streets of for a second day of demonstrations against the Kenyan Supreme Court’s ruling to uphold the election of Uhuru Kenyatta as the African country’s next president.
Police clashed with protesters and fired into the air to disperse the demonstrators, who set fire to piles of tires and logs in the streets, shutting down some major roads.
Similar clashes on Saturday left two Odinga supporters dead.
Odinga said on Saturday he accepted the court ruling because he wanted to avoid bloodshed, adding that he would seek peaceful ways to end a row over the election results.
“Although we may not agree with some of its findings, and despite all the anomalies we have pointed out, our belief in constitutionalism remains supreme,” the Kenyan prime minister stated at a news conference.
“Casting doubt on the judgment of the court could lead to higher political and economic uncertainty, and make it more difficult for our country to move forward,” he added.
The Supreme Court declared Kenyatta the winner of the disputed presidential election that was held on March 4. Legislative and municipal elections were also held on the same day. The polls were the first since 2007.
According to official results, Kenyatta won 50.07 percent of the vote, narrowly avoiding a runoff.
Odinga’s lawyers had complained before the Supreme Court about ‘irregularities’ in the election. They said Kenyatta had not received enough votes for an outright victory.
