Police release images of shooting suspect

Queensland police have released images of a man wanted in relation to the shooting a Robina shopping centre yesterday.

Police are still hunting the heavily-tattooed gunman who shot a 43-year-old man, who was also heavily-tattooed, in the arm during an argument at the Robina Town Centre just before 1.50pm AEST.

A 53-year-old female innocent bystander, believed to be a shop worker, was also shot in the buttock.

A witness named Mark told ninemsn the shot man was texting when he was approached by the gunman.

“I heard someone from not in my field of view say, ‘you effing c-word’ and then he (the first man) shaped up and said ‘you mongrel c—‘ back to him,” he said.

The second man pulled out a “little two-shot derringer pistol” from a “butt bag” and fired twice, he said.

He said the shot man initially went to run after the gunman but then realised he was wounded and walked away.

The Courier Mail reports the 43-year-old shooting victim is believed to be outlaw motorcycle gang member Jacques Teamo.

Investigators are looking for a man who has been described as being of either Pacific Islander or possibly Middle Eastern appearance.

He is approximately 180cms tall with a muscular build and has heavily tattooed on both arms, neck and face.

Three of the images released by police depict a man with a black jumper and two of the images depict the same man with a white shirt.
