Awake Goy Tehran, Dec 21, IRNA – Chairman of Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said on Tuesday that the US administration has provided guarantees not to let visa waiver reform jeopardize implementing Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
He criticized the US Congress and the hardliners of the United States for including Iran in the list of visa waiver reform creating trouble for visitors of Iran.
Ayatollah Rafsanjani said that the extremists and opponents of the US government adopted a set of political regulations to hamper the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
He said that the US extremists aim to derail the process of ending the nuclear dispute and propaganda campaign against Iran and the arbitrary sanctions.
Rafsanjani said that the visa waiver reform is a political game to damage the nuclear deal jeopardizing the international peace and security.
He said that the world powers have come to understand that hostility with Iran will not be to the benefit of anyone.
Referring to measures taken by the Government of Prudence and Hope inside the country and the international community, he said that within short span of tenure of government of President Hassan Rouhani, the world has come to realize the moderate ideology of Iranian nation and principled policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The officials of international organizations and the United Nations have come to understand that majority of Iranian people, who believe in lofty Islamic ideology, hate extremism and war mongering.
